DJ Tru is a Detroit-based DJ, radio personality, host, promoter, producer, and event coordinator with over a decade of experience in the music and live entertainment industry. Known for crafting a distinctive and versatile sound, he seamlessly blends genres including hip-hop, R&B, alternative hip-hop, pop, trap, EDM, reggae, Afrobeats, Latin, and house to create dynamic, crowd-driven performances.

Throughout his career, DJ Tru has shared the stage with major recording artists such as Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Monica, 21 Savage, NBA YoungBoy, dvsn, K. Michelle, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, and Maroon 5, showcasing his ability to energize diverse audiences and elevate live performances.
